Entry requirements
A 2:2 (or above) UK Honours degree, or equivalent internationally-recognised qualification in a subject such as public health, allied health, health-related studies, social sciences, biosciences, and more.
Non-native speakers of English need either of the following:
- IELTS: 6.5 (min 6 in all areas)
- Pearson: 58 (51 in all subscores)
- TOEFL: 92 (min 20 in all)
- BrunELT 65% (min 60% in all areas)

Get funding with Student Finance England
For the 2019/20 academic year, every area of the UK is offering postgraduate loan support from the government to assist towards the cost of a higher education course. You need to apply to the region you reside in and each region will offer slightly different support.
Study loans available
Loans are available for an amount of up to £10,906 towards your study costs. It will be at your discretion to use the loan towards fees, maintenance costs or other costs. Please note that you must meet the eligibility requirements to qualify. If your course lasts for more than a year, the loan will be divided equally across each year of your course.
Master's degree qualification
The Psychological Sciences (Conversion) MSc online is classified as a master's degree course which makes it eligible for funding if you intend to complete the programme within two years. If you have previously studied a professional certificate or diploma, you can still qualify as long as this is your first master's course.
Residency requirements
Applicants must meet the following residency requirements. You must be a UK national resident in England or Wales only, or an EU national resident in England on the first day of the first academic year but within the EEA throughout the preceding three years.
Repayment terms
Loans are repayable once you earn over £21,000 per annum and will be repaid over a maximum of 30 years. For information about interest rates and other key information, please visit the Student Finance England website.
